Alphatic Grease is ready to use — no mixing or dilution required.
Apply with a brush or gloved hand directly to tick feeding sites at weekly intervals.
Target areas: ears (inside and outside), eyelids, tail root, udder, and feet.
Apply a thin, even layer of grease directly onto tick clusters and surrounding skin.
For best results, part the hair or wool to expose the skin before application.
Wear protective gloves during application. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Targeted Use: Alphatic Grease is designed for localised patch treatment, not whole-body application. Do not apply to large areas of the animal.
Brown Ear Tick Strategy: For farms with persistent brown ear tick (Rhipicephalus appendiculatus) problems, apply Alphatic Grease to ears weekly in combination with whole-body dipping using Alphacyp 20 or Alphatraz 250.
Complementary to Dipping: Use Alphatic Grease between dipping intervals to maintain tick control at high-risk attachment sites.
Lactating Animals: Alphatic Grease has no milk withdrawal period, making it ideal for use on dairy cattle where udder tick control is critical.
Wound Protection: The grease formulation provides a physical barrier that helps protect tick bite wounds from secondary infection and fly strike.
In the event of ingestion, do not induce vomiting — seek medical attention immediately and show this label to the doctor. If skin irritation occurs, wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water. If eye contact occurs, rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
